Ahlul Bayt News Agency - A consortium of Moroccan pro-Palestine institutions on Tuesday called for staging a mass-rally in Morocco’s capital of Casablanca next Sunday in support for the ongoing Jerusalem Intifada.
Morocco’s pro-Palestine institutions said in a press statement: “Palestine has been struggling; Palestinians’ blood has been shed; their land has been usurped by Israelis; yet silence and indifference have turned into the world’s official decisions. Only the free ones have risen up.”
The statement urged the Moroccan masses to join the demonstration in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Among the parties and organizations that signed the statement were the Istiqlal Party, The Justice and Development Party, Justice and Charity Party, and the National Union of Moroccan Students.
